Had some fun over spring break, shooting little Peyton Allen. It was also a good time to break in and tryout the Canon 24-70 @ 2.8L lens. The lens handled perfectly.

Baseball… Baseball… Baseball…

The games have been fun, and thus far the weather has held out… all except for the cold. I froze my butt off today, but I it was worth it. The shots I got today have been the best so far this season. I am really warming up to my Canon 300mm @ 2.8 lens. Boy I love that lens.

Canon 300mm @ F2.8 IS

Well, I love the addition of the Canon 300mm F2.8 lens to the camera bag. It was well worth the investment. My new lens attached to my Canon 7D, is a match made in heaven. I also shot half of a baseball get yesterday with my 1.4x extender attached to the 300mm. When you add the cropped sensor, with the 300mm, plus the extender, you can defiantly reach out and touch someone…. I will be posting samples of images shot with the 300mm and the 300mm with the extender attached. I would have never thought baseball season would be so much fun….

Waiting for the home opener for Foothill High School’s baseball team. It is going to be my first oppurtinity to breakout the Canon 300 F2.8, and boy I cant wait. I really can think of a better way to bring in the new baseball season and the weekend. Now, only is Foothill can pull out the win….

Gmail...

I now have a gmail account and all the perks and benefits that come along with a google account. I am moving the blog over to that account now, so I can keep all of my stuff linked to one account. I hope you don't mind the move.

Whats new...

Well, the new addition to the camera bag came in…. I now have the Canon 300mm 2.8 IS lens. I am biting at the bit to go shoot baseball this Friday. I will post some samples of what the beast is capable of doing, and yes I will be using the monopod. I have also hired on a 2^nd photographer who will both do individual assignments as well as be my partner for upcoming events. Joe Bergman Photography is growing…

I sent the weekend at home fighting a horrible headache. So I felt there was nothing better to do than go through my photos from football, wrestling, and basketball... and put together a few sample slideshows. They actually came out really nice. Its kinda amazing the stuff you can do when you’re at home... with plenty time on your hands...

What to say....

Today was a day.... and a very long day that went to crap right off. My oldest dog, Precious, a 17-year-old Chinese Pug passed away this morning. She was the true OG of the house and will be missed.
